As schools reopen on Tuesday, 10 April 2018 from the two week long Easter break, the North West Department of Education and Sport Development is ready to resume with teaching and learning in all the schools in the province.
Part of the Easter break activities was Grade 12 Easter camps with specific target on progressed learners to bridge the gap on their problematic areas of learning.
The camps were well attended across the province from 03 April and will conclude today 09 April 2018. No ill reports were registered throughout the camps.
Today according to MEC for Education and Sport Development in the North West province, Hon. Sello Lehari the province is ready to resume with the syllabus.
“On behalf of team North West Education I sincerely thank all parents for looking after our little stars throughout the Easter holidays as we prepare for the upcoming quarter. I also thank you parents for borrowing us more time with the Grade 12 learners who were in Easter camps and of course a big thank you to all educators for their dedicated efforts and long man-hours to facilitate the smooth running of the camps as we resume with the second quarter syllabus”, MEC Lehari expressed.
The second quarter promises to be full of content and incident free teaching and learning.
