SAFTU calls for Wednesday stay away

The South African Federation of Trade Unions (Saftu) will embark on a general strike on Wednesday in protest against a proposed minimum wage of R20 an hour.  Saftu says imposing a salary cap will be a better way to close the wage gap. Saftu called for total shut down of city centres. Developing story – will keep you posted.
