The four week costly bus strike might come to an end today. Buses might run as normal from Monday. Trade unions involved in the bus strike, SATAWU, NUMSA, TAWUSA, and TOWU met with employers on Thursday to discuss the strike.
An offer has been placed on the table and all unions are currently engaged in consultations with their members to establish how they feel about the latest offer.
According a joint statement released by the unions, these consultations are taking place at the workplaces where members have been gathering since the strike began.
