ANC in the North West decided to recall mayors including those who invested public money at VBS bank. According to ANC provincial task team spokesperson, Kabelo Mataboge, DR Ruth Segomotsi Mompati mayor Boitumelo Mahlangu, Madibeng mayor Jostine Mothibi, Moretele mayor Andries Monaheng, Mahikeng mayor Betty Diakanyo will be fired for investing public money at corrupted VBS mutual bank.
“This was the decision taken by the ANC’s North West provincial task team on Tuesday in Potchesfroom,” said Mataboge.
Two other mayors are also in trouble. Maquassi Hills mayor Noni Kgabi and Mamusa mayor Aaron Motswana will recalled for lack of good and clean governance.
