A little while ago, a local businessman had a vision for North West. He had a dream of seeing the people of North West gathering in one place and having fun without having to cross boarders, sail ships or even drive outside the province. In September 2019, this dream came to reality in the form of a theme park – Ten Flags Theme Park. Now the theme park is more than ready for lower levels of the Lockdown. Ten Flags is now open for the public during the Lockdown Level 3. The multimillion project is now the talk of the town as the owner is on a donating spree. Thapelo Tshepe Foundation is donating face shields and sanitizers at various schools around the province. The Foundation is also donating Food Parcels to needy families.
Located at Hex Road just few minutes outside of Rustenburg, Ten Flags is a place to be for both indoor and outdoor entertainment suitable for the young and the old. Founder, Thapelo Tshepe says Ten Flags was never meant to be a small project. “We have the biggest ice rink in Africa and this is just one of the many activities the park has to offer. Right now we are busy constructing a drive through cinema for those who love watching movies outside,” he said.
Already the park boasts arcade games, paint ball, laser tags, luxury car rides, helicopter rides and quad biking amongst others. With many other activities still in construction, Ten Flags is definitely set to be counted amongst one of the best theme parks in the country.
