North West Premier, Professor Job Mokgoro will remain the North West Premier despite being suspended by the North West ANC. According to ANC North West IPC Coordinator, Hlomani Chauke, Mokgoro was served with a suspension letter on Friday. This comes after Mokgoro and four other members of the ANC provincial legislature – Priscilla Williams, Aaron Motswana, Bitsa Lenkopane and Job Dliso voted with the opposition where chair of chairs was elected. The members are accused of defying the ANC mandate and supported Opposition Parties. Addressing the media today – Sunday – Chauke said Mokgoro will remain as Premier but he will be monitored.
