North West MEC responsible for CoGHSTA, Mmoloki Saviour Cwaile has resigned. This comes after his suspension last week by North West Premier, Job Mokgoro. Cwaile initially ignored the suspension and continued to execute his duties. The Premier did not give reasons why Cwaile was suspended. Cwaile said it is only fair that he should relinquish his duties as MEC given that he is not able to be what ANC does not want its deployees to be and assumes his role as legislator with immediate effect.
“I wish to appreciate an opportunity the Premier has given to me to be part of those adding positive impetus to our peoples desires for better life,” saud Cwaile commented. Premier Mokgoro might have won this round but some politicians are calling for his resignation.
