The Deaprtment of Education in the North West is adamant that this year’s matric examinations will go on smoothly without any incidents. In a statement updating the nation, the department said that so far everything is running smoothly.

Entering the fourth week of matric examinations, the Department is proceeding well with no major incidents reported.

On Monday, 15 November 2021 candidates sat for Physical Science Paper II and Technical Science paper II as well as afternoon papers; Graphic science& Design.
On Tuesday, 16 November, candidates are writing English paper II both Home Language and First Additional Language(FAL) and Civil Technology.

Learners with Covid-19 diagnosis are able to write in isolation.
